Privacy Policy SOS Rescue

Please read this agreement carefully, as it contains important information regarding your legal rights and remedies.

General Data Protection Regulation EU

All personal data are processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and is hosted provided by Hostinger. International Ltd.

Confidentiality

SOS Rescue application service process all Personal Data adhering to the general data processing principles:

  • lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner in relation to the data subject (lawfulness, fairness, and transparency);

  • collect and process Personal Data only for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes (purpose limitation);

  • ensure that Personal Data is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for relation to the purposes for which they are processed (data minimization);

  • ensure that Personal Data is accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date (accuracy);

  • ensure that Personal Data is kept in a form which permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed (storage limitation);

  • process Personal Data in a manner that ensures appropriate security of the personal data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, using appropriate technical or organizational measures (integrity and confidentiality).

All and any information stored on Hostinger's Platform is treated as strictly confidential. All information is stored securely and is accessed by qualified and authorized personnel only.

Profile registration

The purpose of registering a profile is for the person's own safety should an incident occur. The user himself is responsible for whether information should be visible to security personnel on site. Registration of the profile is done by the user of his own free will and can be deactivated on his own initiative. Terms and conditions in this document are considered confirmed by the user only when the profile is set in active mode

Security identification

Authorized security personnel such as security guards, auxiliary corps, police and emergency services can only see user information via a physical scan of the ID that is linked to a self-registered and active user. The purpose of this information is to be able to assist the person in the event of an acute incident if the person has chosen a profile in active mode. 

Data use

NO personal data is stored - only for the purpose and could be made visible to authorized personnel with secure acces to identify a unique ID to an active profile. If a user has chosen deactivated mode, no result will be shown to security personnel or made visible on any other type of platform. Information associated with the ID cannot be used for other purposes and must only be displayed visually with the intention of increased security, public safety and preparedness by authorized personnel with approved licensing.
